Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi (Gorilla Trekking Day)
Arrival at the Kigali International Airport then embark on transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park. Transfer for a period of 2 to 3 hours then traverse the Rwanda-Uganda border. After finishing with documentation clearance at the border, you shall proceed to the Park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Gorillas. After the briefing session, you shall transfer to enter the forest to trek the Gorillas.
You shall proceed with park ranger guides who inform you about the green forest, Gorillas and Gorilla Trekking procedure. You shall transfer for 3 to 5 hours depending on the reported location of the Gorillas then later, you shall meet the Gorillas then in a period of one hour, you shall stay in their presence taking many photos to keep.
At a distance of 7 meters, take many photos to keep with a camera that has no flash then after being in the presence of the Gorillas, you shall transfer back to the park headquarters for you Gorilla Trekking certificate. After receiving the certificate, you shall return back to lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 2: Guided Community walk and departure
Have breakfast in the morning then continue on a guided nature and community walk to the neighboring local communities of the indigenous Batwa People. You shall transfer for a period of 3 hours and when you reach the communities, you are welcomed and entertained through music, Dance and Drama.
Engage in various activities with these local people then later with your luggage, proceed on departure journey towards the Uganda-Rwanda border where you leave from to the Kigali International airport to board your flight back home.
