The Gorilla Trekking Permit costs US $700 per person whereas the Chimpanzee Tracking Permit costs US $200 per person and Chimpanzee habituation Experiences cost US $250 per person.

Day 1: Arrive then transfer to Mgahinga National Park

Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Uganda Gorillas and Chimpanzee Tour
Day 1: Arrive then transfer to Mgahinga National Park
You arrive at the Enetbbe International airport where you are picked up by a driver guide to transfer you towards the Western Part of Uganda via Mbarara Town where you break off for lunch en-route. After a period of 7 hours, you reach Kisoro Town then Mgahinga National Park where you check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga to kibale Forest National Park
Early morning breakfast then go to the park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. On getting here, you are welcomed then informed of the vegetation habitat, terrain of Mgahinga National Park then later you are allocated into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide who transfers you to enter the green forest to trek the Gorillas for a period of 2 to 6 hours depending on the reported location of the Gorillas in their natural habitat.
After a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep at a distance of 7 meters. After trekking the Gorillas, transfer to Kibale Forest Nation al Park and on reaching here, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Primate Lodge Kibale.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
Delicious breakfast in the morning then proceed to the park headquarters for briefing on the rules and regulations to follow when tracking the Chimpanzees and when you finally meet them.
After the briefing, continue to enter the forest to track them for a period of 2 to 4 hours along the varying tracks then after some time, you shall meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking photos to keep.
After tracking the chimpanzees, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Primate Lodge Kibale.
Day 4: Departure to Entebbe International Airport
Enjoy breakfast then with luggage, embark on transfer via Kampala to Entebbe International Airport to board flight back home.
