4 Days Double Gorilla Trek at Bwindi Forest
4 Days Double Gorilla Trek gives you a chance to trek and watch the Gorillas twice in their natural forest vegetation habitat. On this 4 Days Double Gorilla Trek gets you to trek and watch two different Gorilla Groups at a distance of 7 meters with a camera that has no flash.
Bwindi Forest National Park is situated in the South Western part of Uganda with 4 differing sectors in which travelers can trek and watch the majestic Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest habitat. The sectors in the park include; Buhoma Sector, Ruhija Sector, Rushaga Sector and Nkuringo Sector.
During this safari, you trek the Gorillas for 2 to 6 hours depending on the current reported location of the Gorillas from the trackers. Trekking these, you MUST have a valid Gorilla Trekking Permit that costs US $700 per person interested in watching the apes.

Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Double Gorilla Trek at Bwindi Forest National Park
Day 1: Arrive and Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
Arrive at the Kigali International Airport where you are picked up by a driver guide to transfer you to traverse the Rwanda-Uganda border to the stunning Bwindi Forest National Park.
En-route, enjoy views at the greenery terrain vegetation, birds and lunch then after a while reach Bwindi and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Forest (Buhoma Sector)
Morning breakfast at 6:30 am then you get picked up by our driver guide who briefs you about the entire safari and what to expect. Afterwards, he transfers you to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.
On reaching here, you are welcomed and received by a park ranger guide who informs you about the vast Bwindi Forest, Mountain Gorillas, Terrain Vegetation and other species in the impenetrable forest.
You shall be allocated into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide who shall transfer you to the starting point outside the forest then later lead you into the thick forest vegetation to trek the Mountain Gorilla Group allocated.
Trek this for a period of 2 to 6 hours depending on where the Gorillas are located in their natural forest vegetation habitat then later, after a while you shall meet the Gorilla Group and in an hour, stay in their presence taking many photos to keep.
After trekking the Gorillas, return to the park headquarters to receive your Gorilla Trekking Certificate then after proceed to Rushaga Sector of Bwindi Forest National Park then check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 2: Second Gorilla Trek at Bwindi Forest (Rushaga sector)
Today, you are in Rushaga Sector of Bwindi Forest National Park. Wake up early have breakfast at 6:30 am then later continue to park headquarters to be taken through the rules and regulations to follow while on the trek and in the presence of the Gorillas.
After briefing, you are distributed into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide to enter the green thick forest vegetation habitat to trek the Gorillas for 3 to 5 hours due to the reports made by the rangers with trackers then after a while, you shall meet the Gorillas then in an hour, stay in their presence taking photos to keep.
After trekking g the Gorillas, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 4: Depart to Kigali Airport
Wake up in the morning, enjoy your breakfast then with luggage, embark on departure to the Kigali International airport to board your flight back home.
