3 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience
The Gorilla Habituation Experience in Uganda gives you ample time to stay in the presence of the Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi as they take you through their daily activities from the time they wake up to the time they build new nests to spend the night.
On the habituation experience, you get to know the Mountain Gorillas more since you are in groups of 4 and spend 4 hours in the presence of the gorillas with researchers to guide, inform you about these amazing Apes as well as their natural forest habitat. The habituation experience permit costs US $1500 per person and the adventure takes place in Bwindi Forest’s Rushaga Sector.
On this adventure, you wake up earlier have breakfast then go to the park headquarters for short briefing on conduct in the presence of the Gorillas then later in allocated groups of 4 with lead park ranger, enter the green forest vegetation to follow up the Gorillas as they take you through their daily activities.
3 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience starts at the Entebbe International Airport to the western part of Uganda at Bwindi Forest National Park Rushaga Sector.

Detailed Itinerary of the 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience
Day 1: Arrive and Transfer to Bwindi’s Rushaga Sector
Reach the Entebbe International airport where you are welcomed, briefed and transferred by a driver guide to the South Western part of Uganda at Bwindi Forest National Park. Have en-route views at the green terrain vegetation, birds and lunch in Mbarara. Later continue to Bwindi (7 to 8 hours) and when you reach here, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience at Rushaga
Enjoy very early morning breakfast then proceed to the park headquarters for briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. You are welcomed and the park ranger guide distributes you into groups of 4 with your lead park ranger then after, go into the forest for your Gorilla Habituation experience. You shall meet the Gorillas and watch them as they take you through their daily activities.
The researchers inform you further about the Gorillas and for 4 hours in their presence, take many photos to keep. After your Gorilla habituation experience, return to the park headquarters for your Gorilla Habituation Experience Certificate then after lead to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 3: Departure to Entebbe
Morning breakfast then with your luggage, embark on departure to Kampala then Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
