6 Days Gorillas, Chimps & Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali to Bwindi Forest National Park
Arrival at the Kigali International Airport where you meet our driver guide who takes you through precise briefing about the 6 Days Gorillas, Chimps & Wildlife Safari. Afterwards, he shall transfer you to traverse the Rwanda Uganda border and head to Bwindi Forest National Park. On arrival here, you shall transfer to check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park
Engage in trekking the Mountain Gorillas. Get up earlier in the morning have breakfast then after go to the park headquarters for precise briefing on the code of conduct before and around the Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat.
You are welcomed and provided with vital information regarding Bwindi Forest, the Mountain Gorillas and other Wildlife species that can be watched in the Park. After this session, you are distributed into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger (Male/ Female) to take you into the green forest vegetation to trek the Gorillas.
Trek the Mountain Gorillas for a period of 2 to 6 hours depending on their current reported location then later you shall meet them and in an hour at a distance of 7 meters with a camera that has no flash, take many photos to keep.
After trekking the Gorillas, return to the headquarters to pick your Gorilla Trekking Certificate to take with you back home them after return to lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Delicious breakfast in the morning then with your luggage transfer to the stunning Kibale Forest National Park located a few kilometers off Bwindi. You transfer for a period of 3 to 4 hours and on arriving here, you shall go to the Kanyanchu park headquarters to register for Chimpanzee Trekking the next day. Afterwards, you transfer to check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
Chimpanzee Trekking is your remarkable adventure on this Day. You shall wake up very early in the morning then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on conduct around the chimpanzees in their habitat. You shall then later be allocated into groups with lead park ranger guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest and trek the chimpanzees.
Trekking procedure shall take you a period of 2 to 4 hours following varying trails and after a while, you shall meet the chimpanzees and in an hour stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After trekking the chimpanzees, you shall return back to the headquarters to pick your certificate then later transfer back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth (Game Drive & Boat cruise)
Enjoy breakfast then embark on transfer to the prominent Queen Elizabeth National Park located a few kilometers. Enroute enjoy views of the green terrain, bird species.
You shall then reach the Park and have a half day Game Drive as you traverse many tracks in the park watching many wildlife animals wandering around their natural habitat. Take many photos to keep of wildlife animals like elephants, small antelope, kobs, warthogs, buffalo, duiker, lions, hippos, etc.
After Game Drive, you shall have lunch then after proceed on afternoon Boat Cruise along the popular Kazinga Channel. The Boat Cruise takes you a period of 3 hours and while on this, watch schools of hippo, crocodiles and bird species. After the cruise in the evening, return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight. Day 6: Departure to Kigali/ Entebbe Airport
Breakfast then with luggage, depart back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport to board flight back home.
