On this One Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari, you shall get picked up by a driver guide at the busy clean Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. Our Driver briefs you about the safari then later drives you to traverse the Rwanda-Uganda border where you do clearance. He later takes you to the stunning Bwindi Forest National Park (Buhoma Sector).

On your way, view the green terrain vegetation, birds then later arrive at the park headquarters to go through precise briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. After briefing, you are located into groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide per Gorilla Trekking Group.

The allocation depends on a number of factors like the physical fitness of the trekkers, the age of the trekkers etc. For instance there are short treks which are ideal for elderly travelers interested in watching the Gorillas, Medium Treks for the trekkers in between the ages of 28 to 47 and long/ challenging treks for those in the ages of 19 to 28.

After allocation, you transfer with your lead guide to enter the forest to trek the Gorillas for 3 to 5 hours depending on their current location in the forest.
